LOOK Cycle has been working in carbon since the late 1980s, and the Look G85 Cezal GRX Di2 puts that accumulated engineering into a gravel chassis designed for speed across all terrain. Named for the Cezallier — a plateau of ancient volcanic rock in France's Massif Central, known for its remote gravel roads — the G85 Cezal is LOOK's answer to what a capable, fast gravel bike should be: light enough to carry pace on open roads, comfortable enough for long days on rough surfaces, and versatile enough to handle what comes between the two.

The carbon frame and fork are built around a geometry that threads efficiency and control without forcing a choice between them. Head tube angles run 69.5° in the smaller sizes and open to 70.5° in the XL, with 425mm chainstays consistent throughout the range. The 74° seat tube angle positions you over the pedals without the aggressive lean of a road race bike. Reach spans 360mm in the XS to 400mm in the XL. Stack figures run 547mm to 638mm across the five sizes. That balance suits riders who want a gravel bike that responds quickly and rides efficiently without demanding a position they can't sustain for four hours.

The frame runs 700c wheels and clears up to 50mm tires in this double-chainring configuration. An integrated headset and clean internal cable routing keep the front end uncluttered. The T47 threaded bottom bracket provides field reliability at an interface that sees more grit and contamination than almost any other point on the bike — a practical choice over press-fit at this use case. The Look LS1 UD Carbon seatpost at 27.2mm diameter and Look LS3 stem are the proprietary components that complete the cockpit.

Integrated Storage and Suspension Compatibility

The G85 Cezal integrates a waterproof storage compartment directly into the downtube — tools and essentials stay sealed, secure, and out of sight without an external bag. The frame is also designed to accept a suspension fork with up to 60mm of travel without altering the bike's geometry, giving riders the option to push the terrain range further when the route demands it.

Drivetrain and Components

Shifting is handled by Shimano GRX Di2 RX825 in a 2x12 configuration — front and rear derailleurs, shifters, and levers all from the top tier of Shimano's gravel-specific electronic groupset. The Shimano GRX RX820 crankset runs a 48/31 chainring combination, pairing with a Shimano HG710 12-speed 11-36 cassette for a range that covers both fast open roads and sustained climbing without the mechanical simplicity tradeoffs of a 1x setup. Braking is Shimano GRX RX820 hydraulic disc. Wheels are Fulcrum Soniq Carbon 2WF — two-way fit carbon clinchers that support tubeless — with Hutchinson Touareg 700x45 tires mounted stock. The handlebar is a Deda SuperZero Gravel alloy bar, and the saddle is a Look/San Marco Shortfit Offroad.

Design Benefits

  1. LOOK carbon expertise — frame and fork built from decades of carbon construction knowledge applied to the demands of mixed-terrain riding.
  2. Shimano GRX Di2 2x12 — top-tier gravel-specific electronic shifting with the range and precision advantages of a double chainring over a wide-range 1x setup.
  3. Fulcrum Soniq Carbon 2WF wheels — carbon tubeless-ready wheelset as standard equipment, not an upgrade option.
  4. 50mm tire clearance — maximum versatility for surface conditions; the 48/31 double-ring setup still accepts 45mm tires.
  5. Integrated waterproof downtube storage — sealed compartment keeps essentials accessible without external bags disrupting the frame's clean lines.
  6. Suspension fork compatible — frame accepts forks up to 60mm travel without geometry change, extending the terrain range when the route demands it.
  7. T47 bottom bracket and 27.2mm seatpost — practical, serviceable specifications that hold up in the grit and contamination that gravel riding generates.

The G85 Cezal GRX Di2 is available in Speckled Sand/Black in sizes XS through XL. It suits riders who approach gravel with a road-bike mindset toward speed — unwilling to sacrifice pace for capability, but clear-eyed about what the terrain demands. With Shimano GRX Di2, Fulcrum carbon wheels, and integrated storage at $6,700, the spec delivers without asking you to upgrade the build to get there.

Excellent build quality and thick chrome, strong threaded screw
Color: Silver
I purchased this as a gift for a friend that had problems with wine corks being broken and left inside the bottle. The intention was to have this longer tapered screw extend all the way beyond the bottom of the cork to pull out the entire cork without leaving pieces inside the bottle. One detail that is missing from the instructions is the secret to how a wine cork remover must be used to insure success. The tapered screw must be twisted many turns, which will raise the two lever arms directly upwards away from the bottle. It is critical that you keep turning the screw and remove the metal or paper seal that is on the outside of the bottle before you stop turning. By looking at the bottom of the cork inside the bottle, you can watch the end of the tapered screw appear as it is turned deep inside the cork, beyond the bottom of the cork. Once you have visual verification that the screw is all the way in, notice the appearance of the TOP of the screw outside the cork. You will see that it appears to have been turned very far, potentially damaged the outer surface of the cork. That is a GOOD sign that you used enough rotations of the screw to correctly engage the entire cork. Never skip these steps before you proceed to remove the cork. When the screw is in the correct position, the two levers are all the way up. It may take some force to push them down, so put the wine bottle in a SINK, not a countertop. This lowers the bottle for easier access and gives you a safe place to put the cork remover after you open the bottle. Using a controlled force with both hands, move both levers down carefully to make sure that you do not deflect the tapered screw in a way that is misaligned with the neck of the bottle. As the cork is removed, the last part may be fragile from contact with the wine. In addition, the entire cork remover becomes less stable, and free to pivot if you are not careful. This last motion can still damage a cork and create fragments, so just be careful and precise to gently pivot the levers all the way down and then if necessary use a twisting motion to ease the last part of the cork out of the bottle. This method has never failed to remove hundreds of corks from bottles made all over the world without wrecking the cork. Try it and you will never have a broken cork problem again.
